Responsibilities
Managing the Town’s business application systems, AI and data integration, performance, implementations and the staff who support them
Supervising system analysts and a database administrator
Accountable for the day-to-day operation, supporting, and ongoing improvement of software applications used throughout the organization and B2B integrations
Utilizing strong leadership and communication skills to organize, secure, design, improve, maintain, plan and deploy solutions for the organization’s business intelligence driven solutions and systems
Leading in the development and use of reporting and data analysis tools, such as Power BI or similar platforms, ETL development, to improve access to information for business users
Qualification
Required
Bachelor's Degree in computer systems design, computer science or related field
Ten (10) years' experience in Information Technology
At least (5) years equivalent work experience supporting and managing applications and/or systems management
Possession of a valid Class 'E' Florida driver's license and an acceptable driving record
Must be physically able to operate a vehicle
Must not have driver's license suspensions within five (5) years of submission of an application (not insurance-related)
Excellent written and oral communication skills
Excellent listening and interpersonal skills
Strong customer-service orientation
Ability to communicate ideas in both technical and user-friendly language
Ability to conduct research into application issues and products
Highly self-motivated and directed
Keen attention to detail
Ability to effectively prioritize and execute tasks in a high-pressure environment
Experience working in a team-oriented, collaborative environment
Preferred
Microsoft Certified Solutions Developer (MCSD) certification or comparable Microsoft certifications
