Senior Operations Engineer
Pilot Water Solutions is a full service, full life cycle water midstream company. The Senior Operations Engineer is responsible for providing strategic and operational support to achieve project successes, drive revenue generation, and ensure safe and optimized operations in the Source Water and Re-use operations.

Responsibilities
Leads source and re-use team to maximize revenue generation and ensure safe and reliable operations
Leads business development efforts with new or existing customers to generate additional revenue generating projects
Prepares technical proposals and executes on approved projects
Provides daily reporting as necessary
Manages team of operators for safe and efficient operation of source and re-use equipment
Coordinates with Land department on right-of-way (ROW) for potential new projects
Develops and executes on project and testing schedules
Collaborates with Procurement for purchase order requests for both future and ongoing operations
Develop project cost estimates and assist in developing Authority For Expenditure (AFE)
Generates and submits University Lands (UL) monthly report after approval by VP Operations
With understanding of basic hydraulics, travels to location to guide work and trouble-shooting for number of pumps needed for water transfer
There may be additional responsibilities with the chemical and solids control program depending on experience
Complies with all Company policies and procedures; adheres and is compliant to safety and environmental guidelines
Assit with other duties as assigned based on company needs
Submits own timesheets timely and accurately for approval and adheres to schedule as agreed upon on the date of hire, and adjusted work schedules thereafter based on company needs
Able to travel as needed
Qualification
Required
Bachelor's Degree in Engineering - Mechanical, Civil, Petroleum, or Chemical
Minimum of 5 years of oil and gas, water management, or midstream industry experience
Adaptable in a fast-paced work environment that will require frequent site visits
Strong budget management skills
Ability to work with others on a team to accomplish established goals
Ability to communicate effectively both orally and in writing, maintain detailed and accurate records, and prepare clear and concise written reports
Ability to apply engineering principles and techniques to the solution of equipment, maintenance processes and procedures, and infrastructure
Vendor management experience
Knowledgeable and understands basic hydraulics to guide location work and trouble-shooting
Able to travel to field work sites frequently and as needed
Preferred
Experience in Permian /Delaware Basins
Familiarity with Texas and New Mexico oil and gas regulations and both state and federal permitting
Experience with business development in the source water and re-use business
