Senior Developer - Team Lead
U.S. Legal Support is one of the fastest-growing legal services companies in the United States, seeking a Team Lead – .NET Application Development & Support to lead development and production support teams. The role involves guiding the modernization of a legacy Java application into a .NET platform while ensuring production stability and code quality.

Responsibilities
Lead the design, development, and enhancement of .NET-based applications and services
Own technical decisions, coding standards, and best practices
Provide hands-on guidance and conduct code reviews to ensure high-quality, maintainable solutions
Participate in migration and modernization from Java-based systems to .NET
Manage both development and production support teams
Ensure system availability, performance, reliability, and scalability
Oversee incident management, root cause analysis, and permanent fix implementation
Establish and enhance operational support processes, monitoring, and alerting
Own and maintain source code repositories, including branching strategies and pull requests
Enforce CI/CD best practices and deployment standards
Coordinate releases, hotfixes, and environment promotions
Partner with product owners, architects, infrastructure, and QA teams
Communicate status, risks, and dependencies to stakeholders and leadership
Maintain accurate technical and operational documentation
Refine development, deployment, and support processes
Qualification
Required
7+ years of professional software development experience
3+ years in a technical lead or senior engineering role
Strong hands-on experience with .NET (.NET Core / .NET 6+), C#, and RESTful APIs
Experience supporting and troubleshooting production applications
Solid understanding of full-stack architecture with strong backend focus
Experience with relational databases (MS SQL Server, MySQL, or equivalent)
Proficiency with Git and repository management best practices
Experience designing and supporting CI/CD pipelines (Azure DevOps preferred)
Ability to perform code reviews, root cause analysis, and drive long-term fixes
Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related field, or equivalent experience
Preferred
Experience migrating or modernizing legacy Java applications to .NET
Familiarity with cloud platforms (Azure preferred; AWS a plus)
Experience with containerization and modern deployment practices
Working knowledge of Linux environments, Tomcat, and Java applications
Exposure to DevOps and modern production support practices
