Responsibilities
Analysis of electro-optical systems using existing modeling tools
Web-based research in support of technology trade studies
Optical experiment setup, alignment, and test
Test execution and result documentation
Qualification
Required
Must be a current student enrolled in a related engineering degree program
Experience or completed coursework in support of the following: Scientific calculations and tools such as Matlab, MathCAD, and/or advanced experience with Excel
Experience or completed coursework in support of the following: Fourier theory, differential equations, multidimensional calculus
Experience or completed coursework in support of the following: Basic electronics and basic optics / optical principles
Experience or completed coursework in support of the following: Work with lasers, detectors, cameras
Experience or completed coursework in support of the following: Hands-on laboratory work and experiment documentation
Preferred
Junior or Senior year students as well as Master's candidates strongly preferred
