Technical Denials Management Specialist I

Responsibilities
Responsible for outbound calls and/or status inquiries via payer's website validating receipt of medical claims
Verifies insurance
Update insurance demographics and rebill claims not received
Documents all work, and calls performed
Obtain primary and/or secondary EOB and CMS 1500 to bill next responsible payer
Utilize various internal resources to obtain medical records to respond to requests from the third-party payers for additional information
Performs other duties as assigned
Qualification
Required
Education High School Diploma
Experience 1 year administrative or customer service experience
Preferred
Experience 1-year medical claims recovery and/or collections experience
