Responsibilities
Lead new orthopedic bracing product development from concept through launch
Manage prototyping, testing, validation, and technical documentation
Translate clinical needs and market requirements into engineering solutions
Collaborate cross-functionally with product, quality, manufacturing, and supply chain teams
Evaluate materials, components, and manufacturing methods
Provide leadership and mentorship within the engineering function
Support continuous improvement in product design and production
Qualification
Required
Bachelor's degree in Engineering (Mechanical, Biomedical, Materials Science, or related)
5+ years of experience in orthopedic bracing or soft-goods medical device product development
Extensive experience with: Neoprene, Foams, Textiles, Soft-goods construction techniques
Experience with plastics, composites, and hybrid-material assemblies
Demonstrated ability to bring regulated medical device products from concept to market
Strong understanding of orthopedic applications and bracing technologies
Preferred
Experience leading engineering teams or cross-functional project groups
Familiarity with medical device regulatory standards and documentation
Background in manufacturing or materials engineering
Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills
