Responsibilities

Develop compelling customer-focused presentation materials based on Applied’s product portfolio and capabilities
Work with product marketing, product management, and technologists to clearly communicate value proposition of Applied’s products
Update existing marketing collateral & content to have a uniform, consistent design and communication style
Work with internal and external stakeholders to create new visual content, i.e. renderings, videos, photography
Leverage approved AI tools to support research, product requirement documents (PRDs), and performance metrics

Required

A relevant technical degree and strong communication and analytical skills are required
A background in Materials Science, Electrical, Chemical, Mechanical, or related engineering disciplines
Prior semiconductor industry experience is highly valued
Clear, concise, and compelling technical communication skills
Ability to translate technical features into differentiated customer value propositions
Strong analytical mindset with a willingness to learn, ask questions, and act decisively
Broad understanding of semiconductor process modules and system-level trade-offs
Familiarity with device physics, materials engineering, advanced packaging/interconnect technologies, and data analysis
Demonstrated leadership through academic projects, labs, extracurricular activities, or team-based work
Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to simplify complexity and build alignment across stakeholders
BS, MS, or PhD in Chemical, Materials, Mechanical, or Electrical/Electronics Engineering + Master's degree in Business or Communications

Preferred

Prior Semiconductor Experience preferred
