Responsibilities
Lead the stewardship and management of managed account data in Customer Master, ensuring Dealer and Caterpillar Managed Accounts data is accurate, aligned, and visible through dashboards
Oversee customer data change requests from managed account teams, collaborating with technical teams for bulk requests, ensuring requirements fulfilled efficiently
Champion and uphold data quality and governance standards
Collaborate with Industry Managed Account teams to develop business requirements for additional Data Product features that support managed account data and processes
Partner with the analytics team to proactively identify data issues and corrective actions
Effectively communicate with business partners and dealers on data and process improvements
Minimal travel required (less than 15% working time)
Qualification
Required
Expert knowledge in the stewardship, integrity, and governance of managed account data
Lead the stewardship and management of managed account data in Customer Master
Oversee customer data change requests from managed account teams
Champion and uphold data quality and governance standards
Collaborate with Industry Managed Account teams to develop business requirements for additional Data Product features
Partner with the analytics team to proactively identify data issues and corrective actions
Effectively communicate with business partners and dealers on data and process improvements
Basic knowledge of value realization methods
Working knowledge of data, process and events
Working knowledge of effective presentation tools and techniques
Extensive knowledge of an organization's existing and planned Information Architecture and Information Management methodology
Working knowledge of agile methodologies and the agile development lifecycle
Extensive experience in data management (typically 5-7+ years)
Typically a college or university degree or 9 to 12 years of experience
Previous experience with Snowflake and Microsoft Excel
Existing knowledge of Managed Accounts and processes
Experience in managing data & data governance
Strong organization and analytical skills
Ability to work and communicate effectively in a complex, rapidly changing, and culturally diverse environment
Strong process management skills to understand incoming data feeds and requests
