Responsibilities
Conduct field investigations of structural and building envelope failures
Perform structural assessments of existing wood, steel, and concrete systems
Prepare structural calculations and repair details
Review and stamp structural reports, drawings, and recommendations
Collaborate with project managers, designers, and clients
Provide construction phase services, including site observation and review
Qualification
Required
Licensed Professional Engineer (PE) in Washington (or ability to obtain through reciprocity)
Experience evaluating and designing repairs for existing building structures
Familiarity with wood, steel, and concrete framing systems
Knowledge of applicable building codes and seismic considerations
Strong written and verbal communication skills
Ability to access roofs, crawlspaces, ladders, and active construction sites
Preferred
Experience in building envelope consulting or forensic engineering
Proficiency with structural analysis software (ETABS, SAP2000, RISA, or similar)
Experience supporting waterproofing or façade-related structural repairs
Additional licensure in OR, UT, ID, or other western states
