Assembler (Seasonal) - Day shift

Wilson Electronics is looking to hire full-time Seasonal Assemblers to join their team in St. George, UT. The role involves following assembly procedures to assemble cellular booster technology, ensuring quality and accuracy while maintaining inventory and performing minor maintenance tasks.

Responsibilities

Following assembly procedures in accordance to specifications
Using hand and power tools and test equipment
Removing small quantities of metal to clean parts or achieve a precise fit between components
Drilling, tapping, or reaming holes as necessary
Aligning various components and securing them together using bolts, screws, or rivets
Setting up, assembling, repairing, testing, and packaging final and sub-assemblies
Maintaining the required work quality and output at all workstations and assembly lines
Adhering to established requirements
Operating test equipment to ensure that the product meets all necessary specifications
Documenting and reporting any discrepancies
Maintaining and reporting inventory accuracy
Performing housekeeping and organization duties in the department and work area
Sweeping the area, disposing of trash, and performing minor maintenance on certain pieces of equipment
Additional duties may be assigned, or responsibilities may change over time

Required

Independent and reliable worker
Ability to sit or stand for up to 10 hours a day
Ability to walk distances across the production area
Ability to perform frequent, repetitive elbow movements
Ability to reach, grasp, grip, and provide fine manipulation with hands
Ability to work independently, manage multiple assignments, and meet tight deadlines
Experience in following assembly procedures in accordance to specifications
Ability to use hand and power tools and test equipment
Ability to maintain required work quality and output at all workstations and assembly lines
Ability to operate test equipment to ensure that the product meets all necessary specifications
Ability to document and report any discrepancies
Ability to maintain and report inventory accuracy
Ability to perform housekeeping and organization duties in the department and work area
