Responsibilities

Develops and administers security programs and procedures for classified or proprietary materials, documents, and equipment
Studies and implements federal security regulations that apply to company operations
Obtains rulings, interpretations, and acceptable deviations for compliance with regulations from government agencies
Manage program security compliance and operations across multiple functions including PHYSEC, COMSEC, PERSEC, Contract Security, Investigations, and Document Control Management
Prepares manuals outlining regulations, and establishes procedures for handling, storing, and keeping records, and for granting personnel and visitors access to restricted records and materials
Conducts security education classes and security audits
Investigates security violations and prepares reports specifying preventive action to be taken
Review and verify personnel security clearances and SAP accesses through queries to government security databases and systems
Generate and/or review Program Access Request (PAR) packages; ensure all required information is included including currency of information, completeness of forms, and inclusion of required signatures
Generate Program Indoctrination Agreements (PIA), provide to briefer/debriefer, and/or execute briefs/debriefs on behalf of the government security team
Maintain accountability of classified material or classified media as required by contract(s)
Ensure the development, documentation, and presentation of classified security education, awareness, and training activities
Analyze, investigate, and resolve classified security issues while providing leadership and guidance to employees, supervisors, managers on actions(s) to be taken to ensure compliance with the classified security program
Maintain liaison with government agencies, external customers, contractors, employees, and managers
Implement policies and procedures for responding to security incidents, and for investigating and reporting security violations and incidents

Required

2 years of security experience with a Bachelors degree, 0 years with a Masters degree, or an additional four years of security experience may be considered lieu of a degree
Candidate must be a US Citizen
Must have an active U.S. Government Secret security clearance with in-scope investigation (T5, T5R, SSBI, SBPR, PR) completed within the last 5 years or current enrollment in Continuous Evaluation (CE) program
Ability to meet enhanced security requirements and obtain/maintain SAP eligibility and access
Knowledge of the Department of Defense Manual 5205.07
5 years of security experience with a Bachelors degree, 3 years with a Masters degree, or an additional four years of security experience may be considered lieu of a degree
Candidate must be a US Citizen
Must have an active U.S. Government Secret security clearance with in-scope investigation (T5, T5R, SSBI, SBPR, PR) completed within the last 5 years or current enrollment in Continuous Evaluation (CE) program
Ability to meet enhanced security requirements and obtain/maintain SAP eligibility and access

Preferred

Bachelor's degree
Active Top-Secret clearance with ability to obtain and maintain SAP access
Experience with DISS, NISS, SIMS, JADE, or similar databases
Working knowledge of DoD, SAP, and SCI programs to provide procedural and policy guidance
Additional consideration for CDSE SAP Orientation course or CDSE SAP Mid-Level course
Excellent customer service and communication skills
Ability to work independently and follow projects through to completion
Ability to maintain flexibility to deal with changing priorities and deadlines
Strong working knowledge of basic office automation tool suites such as MS Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint)
