Start in 2026 SummerSound Transit is a regional transit authority overseeing capital programs in the Puget Sound region. The Design-Build Intern will assist in the Operations and Maintenance Facility Design and Construction services, gaining valuable experience in project documentation, drafting, coordination, and cost management.

Responsibilities
Maintain project records, reviewing drawings, ensure compliance with contracts, specifications
Utilizing AutoCAD, Revit, Civil 3D, or MicroStation to support design reviews
Act as a liaison between Project team and stakeholders; coordinate project meetings and prepare clear, accurate meeting notes
Assist estimators in gathering information for projects and review quantity takeoffs
Qualification
Required
Current college student in good academic standing
Enrolled in an accredited associate, bachelor's or graduate degree program in Engineering, Architecture, Construction Management or relevant two-year certificate
Strong verbal and written communication skills
Ability to work within a team environment
Ability to manage multiple tasks/projects and meet deadlines
