Responsibilities

Manage Mechanical resources during Program life cycles
Develop vision and support the success of Mechanical Products, incorporating LM Space E&T strategies for continuous digital transformation
Provide inputs and ensure compliance with program standards
Provide hardware documentation compliant with customer requirements, Space Command Media and LM Space Best Practices
Encourage open communication, customer satisfaction, and timely program status updates
Engage with teams to ensure Common Products, Standardization & Optimization is part of Product Strategy and Road Mapping
Ensure staffing tool (e.g. VEMO) is accurate and staffed in a timely and responsive manner
Some travel is required

Required

Spacecraft Design and/or Analysis related experience
Experience in engineering project management including engineering release, cost, and schedule tracking such as Windchill, ePDM, CREO
Experience supporting proposals including developing Basis of Estimates (BOEs) and staffing projections
Willingness/Ability to obtain/maintain a TS/SCI clearance; US Citizenship Required

Preferred

Bachelor of Science or higher in Aerospace Engineering, Mechanical Engineering or related discipline; or equivalent experience/combined education
Thorough knowledge of aerospace structures hardware, knowledgeable in multiple mechanical systems (ex. flight, ground, packaging, verification, or mechanisms)
Experience with Earned Value Management (EVM) and/or Control Account Management (CAM) experience
Development program experience
Risk and opportunity experience with an understanding of continuous improvement concepts
Demonstrated ability to develop strong working relationships with a wide range of partners
Experience as a leader of leaders
Active or Current TS/SCI clearance
