Responsibilities
Defining requirements and designing solutions for M&S software
Participating in technical discussions to assist in near-term and long-term planning
Developing software and automated tests using C/C++ and Python on Windows and Linux Platforms
Leading technical tasks which could include directing and overseeing the work of less experienced developers
Working alongside a team, including mentoring junior software developers on C++, development practices, and software design
Qualification
Required
Must be a US Citizen eligible for a Top Secret Clearance
Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Computer Science or Electrical Engineering or Equivalent with 8+ years of experience, OR Master's Degree with 6+ years of experience, OR Ph.D. with 4+ years of experience
Strong C++ programming skills
Experience developing products with regular release cycles
Good written and oral communication skills, as well as a desire to work with a highly technical team
Preferred
Software development in a DevOps or DevSecOps environment
Experience working with an AGILE software development team
Python programming skills including integration of C++ code with Python
Mentoring experience
Experience working with environmental datasets such as terrain, road networks, atmospheric data, RF propagation data, etc. or signature data
