Responsibilities
Prepare, review, and validate project and portfolio data using Excel and established reporting tools
Build, update, and maintain dashboards in Power BI and/or Tableau
Own recurring reports and dashboards within established standards and processes, ensuring accuracy, consistency, and timely delivery
Perform reconciliations, calculations, and quality checks to identify and resolve data issues
Clearly document assumptions, calculations, and data sources used in reporting
Support reporting related to capital projects, including budgets, commitments, invoices, schedules, risks, and other project-related key performance metrics
Organize and structure project data for reporting and analysis
Produce reports to roll-up to portfolio, program, and/or project levels
Respond to ad hoc reporting requests with defined requirements
Partner with project leadership and internal teams to understand reporting needs and deadlines
Coordinate with teams to collect, verify, and reconcile data inputs
Incorporate feedback efficiently into reporting deliverables
Escalate data quality or logic issues appropriately when clarification is required
Identify opportunities to improve reporting clarity, efficiency, and data accuracy
Contribute to incremental improvements in templates, documentation, and reporting workflows
Apply lessons learned to reduce rework and improve reporting reliability over time
Qualification
Required
2-4 years of experience in data analysis, business intelligence, or a related field
Bachelor's degree in a quantitative, analytical, or business-related field (e.g., Information Systems, Data Analytics, Finance, Economics, Real Estate, Engineering, Mathematics, or similar)
Strong proficiency in Excel (pivot tables, complex formulas, reconciliation, error checking)
Strong proficiency and hands-on experience building or maintaining dashboards in Power BI, Tableau, or similar BI tools
Experience owning recurring reports or dashboards in a business or client-facing environment
Comfort working independently and managing deliverables with limited supervision
Strong analytical thinking and attention to detail
Clear written and verbal communication skills
Preferred
Experience working with project management, real estate, construction, or financial data
Familiarity with Smartsheet or similar project tracking tools
Exposure to data validation, reporting automation, or data transformations
Experience supporting reporting for multiple stakeholders or projects simultaneously
