Responsibilities

Shape and execute the organization’s enterprise data governance strategy
Lead initiatives to establish and enforce data policies, standards, and practices across the organization, ensuring data quality, compliance, and security of core data domains, including PII/PHI
Collaborate with cross-functional teams
Drive the adoption of data governance frameworks
Manage data stewardship efforts
Facilitate day-to-day data-related decision-making processes
Foster a data-driven culture and enable the organization to leverage data as a strategic asset

Required

Minimum of ten (10) years of experience in large-scale data or project management experience
Knowledge of data governance practices, business and technology issues related to management of enterprise information assets and approaches related to data protection is also required
Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, MIS, or Information Management from an accredited institution required
In lieu of the required degree, a minimum of four (4) years of additional relevant work experience is required for this position. This experience is in addition to the minimum years listed in the Experience Requirements above
Certified Data Management Professional (CFMP) required

Preferred

Master's degree in Computer Science, MIS, or Information Management from an accredited institution preferred
Knowledge of data quality and data protection management practices, including those related to the management of healthcare data (i.e., PHI/PII, HIPAA, etc.) preferred
