Aerospace Engineer - Installation Aerodynamics

Responsibilities

Execute, with guidance from senior engineering resources, aerodynamic analysis, design, test, and integration functions required to define and support assigned components, assemblies, and systems that meet business standards and program / product requirements
Prepare and present technical information to internal and external customers
Perform computational fluid dynamics (CFD) analysis including geometry modification & meshing
Use, develop, and test in-house engineering tools to perform aerodynamic evaluations
Set up and execute test programs achieving test objectives within schedule and budget guidelines
Document and communicate aero design, analysis, and test data results
Share engineering information, lessons learned, and promote open dialogue
Assure proper documentation of technical data generated for the assigned projects and/or tasks consistent with engineering policies and procedures

Required

Bachelor of Science degree from an accredited university or college in Mechanical Engineering, Aerospace Engineering, or related discipline with a minimum of 2 years of relevant experience

Preferred

Master of Science degree from an accredited university or college in Mechanical Engineering, Aerospace Engineering, or related discipline
Experience in engine, nacelle, or aircraft aerodynamic design, CFD, or test support
Demonstrated passion for the aviation industry
Highly motivated and passionate with excellent communication skills
Proven teaming and collaboration capability
