Supply Chain Buyer/Planner

Responsibilities

Manage the processes of supporting the planning & purchasing activities relating to finished goods
Create and monitor purchase orders to manufacturing sites / 3rd party vendors to drive accurate finished goods. stock levels while meeting service level requirements
Ensure delivery service targets are achieved
Investigate root causes of any deviations and take corrective actions
Track and verify material delays in Production/Supply/Logistics and work with commercial teams to resolve any issues that could compromise on-time delivery
Continuously review inventory levels, identify slow moving materials, and support increased inventory turns
Support revisions/updates in forecasting with Sales and the Global Planning Team
Create and maintain strong internal relationships
Monitor and support Product Launches and material phase outs by controlling Safety Stock and inventory risks
Possess a continuous improvement mindset and bring innovations for discussion that increase efficiencies and customer satisfaction
Document all processes and procedures used and update as changes are made
Other related duties as required

Required

Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain, or related field, and at least five to ten years' experience within the Supply Chain Planning environment preferred
Proven process improvement and project management skills
Strong individual contributor with ability to provide strategic direction
Excellent oral and written communication skills and ability to effectively interact in multi-cultural and international environment
Ability to network and build strong relationships
Ability to work in a fast paced and changing environment
Able and willing to travel domestically and internationally up to 10%

Preferred

SAP experience strongly; preferred
BI experience desired; preferred
Project work experience; preferred
