Responsibilities
Define and maintain enterprise security architecture frameworks, standards, and roadmaps
Serve as a subject matter expert for security technologies and architecture decisions
Validate security controls across network, endpoint, identity, and cloud environments
Establish baseline security configurations for operating systems, endpoints, network segmentation, and IAM
Partner with systems and networking teams to promote secure design and implementation practices
Support endpoint management initiatives, including macOS onboarding and device control
Develop and maintain architecture artifacts, standards, procedures, and documentation
Perform risk assessments and root-cause analysis with clear, actionable recommendations
Represent security as a stakeholder in projects, initiatives, and technical discussions
Translate complex security concepts into clear guidance for technical and non-technical audiences
Provide hands-on support and guidance as needed in a large, mature infrastructure environment
Qualification
Required
Several years of experience in information security with a strong networking and systems background
Experience working in large, complex enterprise environments
Proven ability to design and support security architecture and standards
Hands-on experience with enterprise security and endpoint technologies, including: Zscaler (ZIA, ZPA / ZPIA), Microsoft Intune, Microsoft 365 security tooling, Endpoint protection and device management solutions, Apple Business Manager and macOS management
Strong Understanding Of: Network architecture and segmentation, Routing protocols and LAN/WAN/SD-WAN environments, Identity and access management concepts
Exceptional verbal and written communication skills
Confident, polished presenter with strong professional presence
Comfortable guiding and influencing technical teams without direct authority
Collaborative, mature demeanor with a -soft-influence- leadership style
Ability to engage effectively with diverse audiences and senior stakeholders
Strong documentation skills and attention to detail
Ability to support work outside normal business hours when needed
Willingness to travel occasionally (up to ~10%)
Preferred
Security or architecture certifications (e.g., CISSP, CISM)
Zscaler certifications
Experience in operationally sensitive or highly regulated environments
