Responsibilities
Generate, review, and edit documentation, that is user-focused and of the highest quality
Work with engineering to ship a user-friendly documentation that not only informs and instructs, but provides a delightful user experience
Contribute to Anduril’s technical writing toolkit, working on everything from style guides to the documentation lifecycle and review process
Build partnerships across the business to understand our users and our products
Qualification
Required
4+ years of demonstrated excellence generating technical documentation for an opinionated audience
Experience reading and interpreting software and hardware user documentation, complex technical products, and highly-structured certification processes
Clear and persuasive writing and in-person communication skills, for a variety of audiences
A passion for excellent documentation and user experiences
Basic development proficiency - we value the ability to apply software development best practices to documentation systems
The ability to thrive with a high level of autonomy and responsibility, managing competing demands and occasional tight deadlines
Currently possesses and is able to maintain an active U.S. Secret security clearance
Preferred
Experience using, evaluating, and implementing modern software and automation tools to help manage high volume technical writing requirements
