They are seeking a Lab Technician – Level I who will be responsible for performing routine laboratory tests, supporting daily operations, and ensuring accuracy and timeliness of material testing activities.

Responsibilities

Perform routine laboratory tests
Support daily operations
Ensure accuracy and timeliness of material testing activities
Perform chemical and mechanical analyses following written laboratory procedures
Assist in drafting work instructions and procedures as directed
Generate, record, and report test results accurately and in a timely manner
Maintain laboratory equipment, tools, and workspace in safe and clean condition
Notify the Lab Supervisor of any condition that affects safety, productivity, or quality
Work with Quality, Production, and engineering teams to support material verification activities
Receive guidance and direction on projects and daily work tasks
Assist with procuring lab supplies and maintaining inventory
Support adherence to laboratory documentation rules and procedures
Other laboratory duties as assigned

Required

High school diploma and 0–3 years of laboratory or manufacturing experience; •OR• Associate degree in a physical science or technical field (preferred)
Basic computer skills; proficiency with Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook)
Ability to follow instructions, multi‑task, and manage time effectively
Good communication and teamwork skills
Ability to stand for extended periods and lift up to 50 lbs
Must be authorized to work in the U.S. and maintain reliable transportation
Willing and able to work overtime or weekends on short notice as needed
Familiarity with industry codes and standards such as ASME Section III & Section VIII, ISO 9001, ISO 17025, NQA-1, and 10CFR21
Strong analytical, organizational, and communication skills
Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment

Preferred

Knowledge of basic chemistry techniques (titration, gravimetric analysis, solution prep)
Familiarity with mechanical testing (tensile, hardness, impact)
Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings
Experience in a manufacturing environment
Understanding basic laboratory safety practices
Proficiency in Microsoft Office and quality management software
Experience with procedures
