Responsibilities
Partner with Product Owners to understand business needs, application capabilities, and testing scenarios
Translate business priorities into scalable Workday Finance solutions aligned with enterprise strategy
Design, build, and implement solutions across Workday Finance modules , including:
General Ledger
Fixed Assets
Expenses
Global Consolidation
Invoices, Payments, and Suppliers
Develop and maintain Workday integrations , including REST/SOAP-based APIs
Collaborate effectively with engineering teams, stakeholders, and finance partners to influence solutions
Identify process improvement opportunities and help redesign business processes for optimal results
Stay current with Workday releases, enhancements, fixes, and platform capabilities
Create and maintain detailed documentation for implementations and ongoing system maintenance
Serve as a technical and functional SME for Workday Finance
Provide troubleshooting and production support as needed (secondary to implementation work)
Qualification
Required
High School Diploma, GED, or equivalent
Strong hands-on experience with the Workday platform, particularly Finance modules
Experience designing and implementing Workday integrations
Experience working with Workday APIs (REST/SOAP)
Ability to work onsite and collaborate closely with cross-functional teams
Preferred
Banking or financial services background is a strong plus
