Responsibilities

Learn and train with Project Engineers and Project Manager throughout construction and closeout
Develop skills to ensure the project remains on task
Reviewing submittals
Processing Requests for Information
Updating as-built documentation
Subcontractor and supplier coordination
Inventory inspection
Daily reporting
Attend weekly construction meetings
Promote jobsite safety
Apply critical thinking skills to resolve problems out in the field

Required

Working towards an applicable Bachelor of Science in Construction Management, Engineering, or a closely related field
Willingness to work on site and adhere to safety policies
The physical and environmental demands required to perform the essential duties of this position include standing, walking, sitting, coordination, balance and agility demands, which may include the ability to climb, stoop, kneel, squat, grasp, reach, perform repetitive hand movements. Additional demands may involve a specific level of dexterity, grip strength, climbing and cardiorespiratory demands. The work areas may be indoor, outdoor, have loud noise, active machinery that includes high pressure fluid systems, electrical equipment, some defined confined spaces, heights and depths, fumes, air borne particles, noxious gases, and chemicals as you would come to expect in the water and wastewater design build industry

Preferred

3.0 GPA
Interest in a career in construction management of municipal water, water resources and / or conveyance type work
Strong verbal and written communication skills
Ability to work independently with clear directions of assignment
Ability to work well with others in a team environment
