Responsibilities
Coordinate the business-critical daily separate account trade wires, ensuring their completion by early to mid-morning
Prepare daily cash reconciliations and initiate disbursement wires for settlement of investment trades and other payments
Prepare journal entries and account reconciliations for financial close and support quarterly/annual regulatory filings and annual financial statement reporting
Support regulatory state filings and premium taxes
Initiate payments for various vendor invoices
Support the withholding tax process, including payments and monthly reconciliations
Streamline processes and enhance controls to develop improved reporting of results
Qualification
Required
Accounting degree is required
Detail-oriented, proactive, and strong organizational skills
Proven ability to collaborate effectively in a high-volume, fast-paced environment while balancing multiple priorities
Strong written and verbal communication skills
Proficiency in Microsoft Excel is a must
Self-starter with a sense of ownership who has the initiative to proactively identify and resolve issues and know when to seek clarification or assistance
