Responsibilities
Provide hands-on support for IP routers, switches, and telephony customer premises equipment (CPE)
Design, configure, and deploy LAN and WAN network solutions, including hardware, software, communication links, and related services
Monitor network performance and proactively optimize systems to ensure high availability and reliability
Troubleshoot and resolve network connectivity and performance issues across Layer 2 and Layer 3 environments
Support firewall configuration and maintenance to ensure network security and compliance with company standards
Maintain and monitor network infrastructure in alignment with established operational and security standards
Collaborate with internal teams to support infrastructure upgrades, expansions, and new deployments
Qualification
Required
0–3 years of hands-on experience working with Cisco and/or Juniper routers and switches
Solid understanding of Layer 2 and Layer 3 networking technologies
Knowledge of internetworking design concepts, routing protocols, and practical network applications
Experience with common routing and switching protocols (e.g., OSPF, BGP, EIGRP, VLANs, STP)
Experience working with firewalls such as Cisco ASA, Juniper SRX, Check Point NG, or similar technologies
Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills in enterprise networking environments
Preferred
Industry certifications such as CCNA, CCNP, CCIE, or equivalent are highly desirable
Experience supporting enterprise-level network infrastructure
Familiarity with network monitoring tools and performance analysis
