Responsibilities

Work in conjunction with the molding team to solve issues with automation, auxiliary and robotic equipment to reduce machine downtime
Work unsupervised in maintaining equipment, tools, and work area
Respond to production calls for assistance on automation, auxiliary and robotic related equipment
Assist in the set-up / tuning of appropriate equipment following a mold change & optimize cycle time in conjunction with molding machine
Perform a daily visual inspection of on-line and off-line equipment to detect malfunctions
Perform repairs associated with the red tag program
Assist Automation Engineers and department management with project requests. Active team member of PIT (Process Improvement Team)
Maintain cleanliness and functionality of tools and work area
Maintain and enforce all company safety, environmental and department of health requirements

Required
