Responsibilities
Design and maintain multiple CRM and market intelligence databases in Excel and Salesforce
Gather and synthesize market intelligence for internal reporting and client facing materials
Automate and take ownership of regular reporting and analysis
Create and maintain team and firm credentials (Excel, PPT)
Create company and industry reports and maintain market screens (Sponsor-owned public company screen, debt screen etc.)
Support client relationships including tailored materials, pitch support and client interaction participation
Liaise with partner groups to coordinate knowledge sharing
Support project-based work in partnership with internal teams (PESG, business management, data science, etc.)
Ensure team organization and follow-through on next steps and follow-up items
Network with internal client groups and support PESG efforts to work with these groups
Qualification
Required
Self-starter with strong drive and work ethic
Excellent problem solving, trouble shooting and analytical skills
Positive attitude and eagerness to learn
Strong leadership qualities
Propensity to take ownership of a task and drive its completion
Understanding of investment banking, financial concepts and related market activities
Ability to multi-task and quickly adapt to changing business needs
Comfortable in a high pace environment
Strong attention to detail and accuracy
Solid emotional intelligence and interpersonal skills
Strong communication skills (written and verbal)
Excellent computer skills (Microsoft Suite – Excel, PPT, Word, etc.)
Undergraduate degree, preferably in a business-related major
0-2 years of experience in the financial services industry, financial research and/or analysis preferred
Excellent quantitative analytical skills and experience
Preferred
Any experience with Macros, Pivot Tables and Programming in VBA
Exposure to the following resources is a plus: Salesforce, Preqin and/or Bloomberg
Previous Data Analysis, Client Support, Analytics, or banking experience preferred
