Responsibilities
Conduct line assembly, sub-assembly and in-process inspections
Reference blueprints, interpret dimensioning shown and review inspection results against engineering and customer expectations
Perform Fidelity Assessments after Sparton training
Interact with program’s operators, Group Leads, and Supervisors
Provide feedback to operations and Quality Engineers about program’s quality issues
Check, measure, and enforce product adherence to program’s Quality Audit Quality Inspection Plans (QAQI)
Complete respective paperwork/documentation
Record inspection results and maintain general filing
Enter/extract data in computer
All other duties as assigned
Qualification
Required
High School Diploma or GED
US Citizenship is required
Must possess good math fundamentals, comprehend written work instructions and communicate well
Ability to use GO/ NO GO, direct and fixed gauges, scales, micrometers, direct reading electrical test sets. Sparton training will be provided
Ability to interpret simple and complex parts of assembly drawings
Must be willing to obtain general or advanced soldering workmanship standard certification
Willingness and ability to obtain/retain ESD Precautions Standards certification
Must have basic understanding of PC systems data entry, retrieval
Must meet minimum requirements for vision and color recognition tests
