Clinical Research Assistant 3
The Ohio State University is seeking a Senior Clinical Research Assistant to lead the execution of clinical research studies within the Department of Psychiatry and Behavioral Health. This role involves collaborating with the Principal Investigator, overseeing participant recruitment, and ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements.

Responsibilities
Serve as a lead resource in the execution of assigned clinical research studies in accordance with approved protocols administered by the Department of Psychiatry and Behavioral Health
Collaborate with the Principal Investigator to develop and implement study and participant consenting processes to comply with sponsor and federal regulations
Develop and implement plans to meet requirements of new studies
Supervise the overall recruitment process to maximize efficiency and excellent participant experience
Identify, recruit, interview and promote study to eligible participants
Lead participant enrollment activities and ensure informed consent authorization is obtained & administered in compliance to regulatory & sponsor requirements
Supervise & coordinate conduct of daily activities of research studies, as well as scheduling and follow-through of study visits, procedures, & other testing
Participate in coding, data management (includes: implementing and processing pipelines/scripts for neuroimaging analysis, including resting‐state and task-based fMRI; design and code tasks in Presentation and similar software)
Conduct data quality control (includes: monitoring neuroimaging and behavioral data for completeness and develop an organized storage system; maintain quality control of neuroimaging data by developing, implementing, and overseeing data entry and quality control protocols)
Analyze research data (questionnaire, behavioral, and neuroimaging)
Assist with the preparation and submission of publications, research reports, and grant proposals
Assist with activities to ensure compliance with Institutional Review Boards (IRB)
Ensure compliance to federal, state and local regulations and guidelines
Qualification
Required
Bachelor's Degree in biological sciences, health sciences or medical field or an equivalent combination of education and experience required
Two years of experience in a clinical research capacity conducting clinical research studies required
Computer skills and data analysis skills required
Preferred
Experience or knowledge in psychiatry/behavioral health
Experience with coding, neuroimaging analysis software (e.g., AFNI)
Experience with Microsoft Software
Experience with R/R Studio applications
