The Senior Mechanical Engineering Designer will be responsible for designing and drafting mechanical engineering projects, coordinating with various engineering disciplines, and producing construction documents while adhering to client and code requirements.

Responsibilities
Assist with design tasks and reports under the direction of senior staff
Conduct site feasibility research and site visit investigations as well as generate reports/recommendations based on findings
Assist in maintaining task budgets
Coordinate and assist with addendums, RFI's and change orders
Assist in coordinating the work of a multi-disciplined team throughout the design development and contract document phases of a project
Assist senior staff with the project approval process
Other related responsibilities as necessary to fulfill the objectives of this role
Qualification
Required
Bachelor's degree in mechanical engineering
4+ years of experience with general building mechanical design production, preferably with commercial projects such as retail, restaurants, grocery, financial, and/or convenience stores
Revit, MS Office required
Preferred
EIT preferred, not required
AutoCAD a plus
