Responsibilities
Lead and supervise electrical installation teams on construction sites, ensuring adherence to project scope and efficiency expectations
Read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and technical drawings to guide installation processes
Utilize construction management software for project scheduling, tracking progress, and documentation
Conduct quality control inspections to ensure work meets industry standards and client requirements
Troubleshoot electrical issues on-site using schematics and technical manuals; ensure timely resolution of problems
Document daily activities, progress reports, safety incidents, and other relevant information for project records
Qualification
Required
Proven experience in construction management, with a focus on electrical projects; supervising teams in a fast-paced environment
Strong knowledge of blueprints, schematics, construction estimating, project scheduling, and quality control procedures
Hands-on experience with electrical systems installation, troubleshooting (including use of ohmmeters), and testing procedures
Ability to read technical drawings and schematics accurately; familiarity with electrical project phases and standards
Excellent management skills with the ability to supervise multiple teams effectively while maintaining safety standards
Strong communication skills for coordinating between field crews, project managers, clients, and vendors
Direct experience working in the industry with proven experience as an electrician
Construction experience or general mechanical aptitude is helpful
Ability to read and understand blueprints/floor plans and markups
Demonstrable ability to use electrical and hand tools such as power drills, wire strippers, voltmeters, etc
Thorough knowledge of safety procedures legal regulations and guidelines
Experience on construction sites and knowledge of best practices on job sites
Excellent critical thinking and problem-solving ability
An eagerness to learn and work as part of a growing team is required
A clean driving record and a valid driver's license required
