Responsibilities
Support Project Managers during the pre-construction phase to ensure projects are fully prepared for execution
Coordinate schedules, budgets, estimates, and documentation prior to project kickoff
Assist with subcontractor outreach, bid tracking, and proposal comparisons
Review plans, specifications, and scopes of work for completeness and accuracy
Prepare project handoff packages to ensure a smooth transition from pre-construction to construction
Track approvals, selections, permits, and pre-start requirements
Communicate with internal teams, designers, architects, and vendors to resolve pre-construction issues
Maintain accurate and organized project records using construction management software
Identify potential risks early and flag issues before they impact schedules or budgets
Qualification
Required
Three or more years of experience in pre-construction, project coordination, estimating, or construction administration
Strong understanding of residential construction processes and sequencing
Ability to read and interpret construction drawings and specifications
Excellent organizational, communication, and time-management skills
Proficiency with construction management software (JobTread, BuilderTrend, CoConstruct, or similar)
Detail-oriented with a proactive, problem-solving mindset
Comfortable working in a fast-paced environment with multiple active projects
Trustworthy, accountable, and professional
Preferred
Construction or estimating background preferred, but not required
