Responsibilities

Troubleshoots complex, hardware, software and network issues
Performs software deployments, patching and updates
Participates in infrastructure upgrades and migrations
Supports the implementation, operation, and sustainment of system security protections for training and simulation systems
Performs hands on configuration, troubleshooting, documentation, and change support for network and boundary components in a controlled environment
Performs scheduled maintenance and systems upgrades
Supports audits, inspections, and vulnerability remediation activities
Maintains current knowledge of relevant technology as assigned
Participates in special projects as required

Required

3 + years of related experience
US Citizenship Required: Yes
Education: AS/AA in Information Technology or Computer Science or a related technical discipline, or the equivalent combination of education, technical training, or work experience
Required Technical Skills: Provides systems engineering support for the design, integration, operation, and sustainment of enterprise systems
Required Technical Skills: Performs ongoing system maintenance and supports system upgrades and migrations
Required Technical Skills: Resolve issues involving Active Directory, permissions, group policies
Required Technical Skills: Strong understanding of RMF, boundary relevant STIGS, and cybersecurity compliance
Required Technical Skills: Working knowledge of firewall rules, traffic filtering, and access control
Required Technical Skills: Working knowledge of configuration and management of core switches, remote nodes, and diverse communications hardware within controlled environments
Certification: SEC+ is required
Security Clearance Level: MUST be able to obtain Interim / Secret Clearance within 6 months of hire
Required Skills and Abilities: Must meet DoD 8570 IAM I certification
Required Skills and Abilities: Superb communication skills
Required Skills and Abilities: Strong troubleshooting skills with the ability to escalate appropriately
Required Skills and Abilities: Must be able to perform with minimal guidance

Preferred

military and MTC experience preferred
Network+ or CCNA will be considered
