Responsibilities
Assists the Program Director with the successful development, implementation, continuity and sustainability of the Rensselaer Science & Technology Entry Program (STEP)
Assists with the recruitment and on-boarding of program participants
Provides support in the preparation, accuracy and maintenance of student records and evaluations as required by the grant
Works with the Program Director to develop the annual program reports
Qualification
Required
Associate's Degree in STEM or other related field
3 or more years relevant experience
Valid US driver's license
Ability to work with diverse populations including middle and high school students (grades 7-12), parents and guardians
Proficiency with Microsoft Office
Excellent verbal and written communication skills
Attention to detail and organizational skills
Ability to simultaneously handle multiple projects with multiple deadlines
Ability to take initiative and follow up on constituent issues as needed
Willingness and ability to work effectively in a team environment
Preferred
Technical proficiency, including; the ability to use web authoring tools to update web pages/sites for the program
