Responsibilities

Required

Must possess the skill, knowledge and ability essential to the successful performance of assigned duties
Must demonstrate customer service skills appropriate to the job
Must be willing and able to work occasional weekends and evenings as needed
Knowledge of operating system internals, file systems, functions of hardware components, and how hardware and software components work together to form a computer system
Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English
Demonstrated technical ability to install, and maintain MAC Windows operating systems environment including Office application suite
Demonstrated skill to work independently and to prioritize and manage a relative number of simultaneous requests and to work on tasks which may not be clearly defined
Demonstrated experience working as a project manager / lead
Demonstrated experience in healthcare IT, preferably in an academic hospital setting
Demonstrated ability to effectively supervise and motivate staff
Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science or related field and/or combination of education and equivalent work experience
Ability to manage multiple medium to large scale projects with multiple stakeholders in a cross matrix environment
Ability to maintain a work pace appropriate to the workload
Ability to establish and maintain effective working relationships across the Health System

Preferred

Prior lead or supervisory experience
Knowledge of University and medical center organizations, policies, procedures and forms
Bilingual skills in English and Spanish and/or Vietnamese
