Responsibilities
Participate in modeling, design, and analysis necessary to reimagine the state of the art in complexity management and the digitization of the engineering process
Complete challenging technical projects and apply theoretical knowledge to real-life technical problems
Qualification
Required
Current enrolment in a full-time Ph.D. degree program in Aerospace or Systems Engineering or related disciplines at an ABET accredited university
Permanent legal authorization to work in the US is required. This role is restricted to U.S. persons. GE Aerospace will require proof of status prior to employment
Willingness to work at the GE Aerospace Research site in Niskayuna, NY
Minimum GPA 3.0 / 4.0 scale
Preferred
Excellent academic performance with technical research orientation
Ability to adapt to change and willingness to be flexible in a global team environment
Strong interpersonal skills, initiative and organization; demonstrated ability working with a team
Strong problem solving skills, thorough attention to detail
Experience with heat transfer modeling at component and system level
