Responsibilities
Program, modify, and optimize CNC milling operations using Mastercam
Develop setups, tooling strategies, and multi-axis machining processes
Simulate and verify programs before production
Design and implement fixture concepts for complex parts
Support machinists during setup, first-piece runs, and troubleshooting
Ensure programs meet blueprints, GD&T, and customer requirements
Participate in continuous improvement initiatives
Qualification
Required
5+ years CNC milling programming experience in a precision environment
Proficiency in Mastercam for 3-, 4-, and 5-axis milling
Experience with complex aerospace or defense components
Ability to work with tight tolerances (<0.0005”) and exotic materials
Strong understanding of machining strategies, cutting tools, and workholding
Ability to read engineering drawings, blueprints, and GD&T
Preferred
Job shop or high-mix manufacturing experience
Familiarity with CAD models and ERP systems
