As a Quality Engineer, you will provide Quality support to shop, program, and field sites, focusing on inspection activity, planning review, and ensuring compliance with quality standards.

Responsibilities
Integrates contractual and Boeing Quality Management System requirements into all aspects of proposals and program processes and documentation
Develops quality metrics, design and production certification plans to ensure compliance with contractual, Company and regulatory requirements
Conducts capability assessments and process validations to support supplier selection activities
Participates in various reviews to ensure quality attributes are incorporated into product designs. Performs analysis and process audits to ensure manufacturing and test readiness
Provides material review dispositions for non-conformances
Analyzes non-conformance trends to evaluate effectiveness of corrective actions
Performs benchmarking and other forms of analysis to ensure specified processes capability levels are achieved
Qualification
Required
Bachelor of Science degree in Engineering, Engineering Technology (including Manufacturing Technology), Computer Science, Data Science, Mathematics, Physics, Chemistry
Experience in fabrication, manufacturing or aerospace environment
Preferred
Level 2: More than 1 year of experience or an equivalent combination of education and experience
Experience First Article Inspections (i.e. AS9102)
Experience with IPC-620
Experience working with AS9100 and/or similar QMS standard
More than 1 year of experience do you have working with regulatory agencies (DCMA, FAA, and/or Military)
Experience in Nonconformance Processing
More than 1 year of experience working with Quality Management Systems
More than 1 year of experience applying Root Cause Corrective Action (RCCA), or other similar rigorous problem/analysis/resolution, processes to engineering development and manufacturing/production efforts
