Responsibilities
Collaborate with AI, Data Science, and Product teams to evaluate and enhance AI models used in underwriting, claims processing, risk assessment, and pricing
Identify gaps, biases, and limitations in existing AI models and provide domain-driven recommendations for improvement
Validate AI model outputs against real-world insurance practices, regulatory requirements, and customer experience standards
Define key performance metrics and success criteria to measure model accuracy, effectiveness, and business impact
Support data labelling and annotation processes by providing insurance-specific insights and contextual guidance
Contribute to the design and implementation of explainable AI frameworks to improve transparency and trustworthiness
Stay up to date with insurance regulations, compliance standards, and emerging AI applications within the industry
Qualification
Required
Bachelor's or master's degree in insurance, Risk Management, Actuarial Science, Business Administration, or a related field
7+ years of experience in the insurance industry (underwriting, claims management, risk modeling, product management, or related areas)
Strong understanding of insurance operations, policy structures, coverage types, and regulatory frameworks
Experience working with cross-functional teams including data science, analytics, product, and technology teams
Ability to translate complex insurance concepts into structured insights for AI model development
