Responsibilities
Spend ~50% of time reviewing and shipping production code, setting a high technical bar and making pragmatic tradeoffs
Own end-to-end delivery (planning, execution, and quality), including lean sprint rituals focused on shipping—not ceremony
Lead and grow the team through 1:1s, feedback, career development, and hiring/onboarding as the organization scales; partner closely with Product to turn ambiguous requirements into shipped features
Qualification
Required
Strong senior engineer with recent hands-on coding experience
Comfort owning complex systems and debugging in production
Experienced leading teams as a player-coach, tech lead, or engineering manager
Bias toward action, accountability, and moving fast without sacrificing quality
Clear communicator who leads by example
Preferred
Startup/high-growth experience
Familiarity with B2B SaaS or data-intensive systems
