Responsibilities
The VP will hire, train and motivate the team
Will interact with customers to determine their system level requirements and develop specs and architecture for the Antennas
Will help make decisions on vendors, CAD tool and Test equipment investments
Will use Phase-Gate, or a similar method to drive the design process from concept to deliverable
Will architect the Antenna product, and closely advise engineers on methods, risks and tradeoffs, ultimately approving the designs
Qualification
Required
BSEE or higher degree
15-20+ years of RF/Microwave Design OR Antenna design experience
10+ years as a technical manager over RF Design
