Responsibilities
Develop and execute comprehensive test plans and strategies for OpenVPX-based systems
Lead functional, integration, performance, and stress testing activities
Design and configure test environments, instrumentation, and automation frameworks
Collaborate with design, program, and customer teams to validate requirements
Troubleshoot system defects and drive resolution with engineering teams
Create detailed test documentation, reports, and compliance records
Support adherence to MIL-STD, DO-178C, DO-254, and AS9100 standards
Identify opportunities to improve automation, efficiency, and test coverage
Qualification
Required
Bachelor's degree in Electrical, Computer, or Aerospace Engineering
Experience testing OpenVPX or similar embedded hardware systems
Strong knowledge of SPI, PCIe, TCP/UDP, VLANs, and networking fundamentals
Hands-on experience with oscilloscopes, spectrum analyzers, and environmental chambers
Proficiency in Python and/or C/C++ for test automation
Understanding of defense/aerospace compliance standards (MIL-STD, DO-178C, DO-254, AS9100)
Strong analytical, troubleshooting, and communication skills
Preferred
Master's degree in Electrical, Computer, or Aerospace Engineering
