Responsibilities
Design fire sprinkler systems for commercial and industrial projects in Reno, NV, following NFPA and local code requirements
Manage fire protection projects from design kickoff through project closeout
Prepare shop drawings, hydraulic calculations, and all project submittals
Coordinate with field crews, inspectors, contractors, and internal teams to ensure smooth project execution
Track schedules, design revisions, and project documentation to maintain accuracy and compliance
Communicate regularly with clients and project stakeholders regarding progress, design updates, and compliance
Qualification
Required
Proven experience designing and managing fire sprinkler systems
Strong knowledge of NFPA standards and local fire protection codes
Proficiency with fire sprinkler design software (e.g., AutoSPRINK, Revit, or similar)
Ability to manage multiple projects and deadlines efficiently
Clear, professional communication and client-facing skills
Detail-oriented with strong organizational and problem-solving abilities
