System Analyst

Responsibilities
Configure, maintain, and support healthcare applications to meet clinical and administrative needs
Provide technical and functional support to end-users, troubleshooting issues and ensuring application stability
Collaborate with users to analyze workflows, identify improvement opportunities, and implement system enhancements
Assist in the analysis, design, testing, and documentation of application modifications and upgrades
Participate in system testing, validation, and deployment activities to ensure quality and compliance
Support the organization’s disaster recovery and data security protocols related to application systems
Maintain documentation of system configurations, issues, and resolutions for future reference
Work closely with vendors and internal teams to resolve complex technical problems
Provide on-call support during off-hours, weekends, and holidays as part of the 24/7 support environment
Stay current with industry best practices, emerging technologies, and regulatory requirements affecting healthcare IT systems
Qualification
Required
Bachelor's degree in a relevant field such as Information Systems, Computer Science, Healthcare Administration, or a related discipline
Certification in supported applications, such as Epic or Proficient, is required within six months of employment if supporting those modules
Demonstrate the ability to work independently with limited supervision
Possess strong analytical and problem-solving skills
Exhibit excellent communication abilities both verbally and in writing
Organizational skills, time management, and adaptability are essential
A minimum of four years of experience in an IT or healthcare operations environment, including clinical, medical records, patient access, or revenue cycle
Preferred
An advanced degree or specialized training in Information Systems or Business is considered an asset
Proficiency in Microsoft Office tools
Familiarity with healthcare applications and technologies
