Information Technology Support Technician
AVASO Technology Solutions is seeking an IT Support Technician to deliver on-site technical support for a diverse range of IT infrastructure components. The role involves troubleshooting, preventive maintenance, and hardware replacement to ensure efficient operation of the IT environment, along with supporting server and networking equipment deployment.
Responsibilities
Required to travel to different office scattered across Madison to support the end users with IT-related issues. Should drive
Hardware support : Installing, configuring, and maintaining end-user devices like laptops, desktops, tablets, and printers. monitors, docking stations
Software support : Installing, configuring, troubleshooting, and fixing the software
Printer support : Install and configure printers at branches and on endpoints
Service Management: Good knowledge of the ServiceNow ticketing tool to track, monitor, and update the tickets assigned
IMAC execution for all EUC hardware and software
Patch Management, vulnerability management: Install security patches to remediate vulnerabilities
EUC Asset Management: Managing and maintaining inventory of all hardware in the stock room and updating the status in ServiceNow CMDB
Knowledge of networking devices like switches, routers, IP configurations, Access points, etc
Monitor network performance, troubleshoot issues, and perform routine maintenance on network hardware and software, including routers, switches, and firewalls
Service coverage is assumed to be 8x5
Qualification
Required
Delivering on-site technical support for a diverse range of IT infrastructure components, including desktops, laptops, servers, storage systems, and network equipment such as Cisco routers and switches
Advanced troubleshooting, preventive maintenance, and hardware replacement to ensure the smooth and efficient operation of the IT environment
Support rack-and-stack activities to deploy, configure, and optimise server and networking equipment as per customer or project requirements
Required to travel to different office scattered across Madison to support the end users with IT-related issues
Hardware support: Installing, configuring, and maintaining end-user devices like laptops, desktops, tablets, and printers
Software support: Installing, configuring, troubleshooting, and fixing the software
Printer support: Install and configure printers at branches and on endpoints
