Responsibilities
8 - 10 years’ experience building, configuring, and maintaining production environments, including standard networking preferably RHEL as OS
Expert knowledge of server-side networking (TCP/UDP/Multicast)
Expert knowledge of administration of Red hat Products, especially RHEL 6 & 7 and Satellite 6
Experience in scripting and automating complex tasks
RedHat and ITIL certified
Expert level of knowledge supporting RHEL server operating systems
Excellent troubleshooting and investigative skills
Knowledge of Chef or similar (ansible , puppet)
Knowledge of clustering technologies - Veritas and Oracle RAC
Knowledge of the physical datacentre operating environment
Knowledge of VMware products
Experience of Bash or Python scripting
Experience of working with on premise and cloud (AWS) environments
Experience of supporting enterprise scale, complex and secure server estates
Excellent verbal and written communication skills, experience of working in a fast-paced global team
Experience of building relationships with stakeholders at various levels
Experience of manage suppliers and vendors
Self-starter, works with minimal supervision and comfortable working unsociable hours
