Technical Support Specialist (Vision) - 100% Company Training Provided
Mitutoyo America Corporation is a leader in the field of precision measuring tools and instruments. They are seeking a Technical Support Specialist to provide technical support for precision measuring instrument products and software to internal departments and end users.

Responsibilities
Review new products, product specifications, engineering, and product changes from Japan for marketability
Provide technical assistance and recommendations to end users as requested
Answer customers’ technical questions (such as capabilities or specifications on assigned products) which cannot be answered by the Customer Support Department
Participate in, and sometimes coordinate, product, promotion and "Bukai" meetings to explain new products or specification changes
Provide technical assistance to Quality Assurance staff and manage product claim process
Pull warehouse items for recall as required
Coordinate the technical inquiries between MJ and MAC, especially the special quotation requirement
Primary judgement of the technology relating the ECCN, FDA, and others to enforce compliance
Research competitors’ product specifications, prices, and performance specifications
Qualification
Required
Four-year degree or equivalent education
strong mechanical, electrical, math aptitude and computer skills
