Responsibilities

Develop and maintain comprehensive project plans, timelines, and budgets for a nationwide POS rollout
Define project scope and deliverables in collaboration with IT, store operations, finance, and vendor partners
Lead and communicate with a Franchisee Focus Group to secure buy-in and support testing of deliverables
Act as primary liaison between the organization and the POS technology vendor
Manage contracts, deliverables, and service levels to ensure timely and on-budget implementation
Partner with store operations teams to coordinate deployments with minimal disruption to daily franchise activities
Collaborate with training teams to design and deliver POS training programs for store staff
Oversee beta/pilot installations, testing, feedback cycles, and full-scale deployment across hundreds of franchise locations
Manage scheduling of hardware installations, software configuration, data migration, and system integrations
Establish and execute testing protocols to ensure system functionality prior to full deployment
Manage issue tracking, troubleshooting, and resolution throughout implementation phases
Provide regular status updates to executive sponsors and leadership
Prepare detailed reports on project progress, risks, and mitigation strategies
Develop and implement change-management strategies to drive adoption of the new POS system
Support stores during and after go-live to ensure a smooth transition

Required

5+ years of project management experience, specifically within retail technology or large-scale retail operations
Proven track record of leading POS system implementations or similar enterprise retail technology deployments
Strong organizational and leadership skills; ability to manage multiple complex projects simultaneously
Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills, with experience presenting to executive audiences
Proficiency in project management tools such as Confluence, Smartsheet, or equivalent
Bachelor's degree in Business, Information Systems, or a related field
