Responsibilities
Leads the design, integration, and governance of artificial intelligence (AI) solutions across the hospital system
Bridges clinical, operational, and technical domains to ensure AI initiatives align with BayCare's mission
Establish AI governance frameworks, including model validation, bias mitigation, and ethical use
Ensure all AI initiatives meet regulatory and privacy requirements
Design and implement AI-driven automation solutions to reduce manual effort, improve accuracy, and enhance patient and staff experiences
Qualification
Required
Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Data Science, Engineering, or related field
7+ years of experience in Enterprise Architecture, with at least 1 year focused on AI/ML
Proficiency with AI/ML platforms (e.g., CoPilot Studio, Azure AI, AWS SageMaker, Google Vertex AI)
Strong understanding of data privacy, security, and compliance in healthcare
Excellent communication and stakeholder engagement skills
Preferred
Experience in Healthcare IT environments strongly preferred
Familiarity with EHR systems (e.g., Epic, Cerner) and experience with natural language processing (NLP) and computer vision in clinical contexts preferred
