Responsibilities

Provides administrative supervision over the Guadalupe office to ensure all services provided by the various programs such as Social Services, Health, Education, etc. are carried out in an efficient and professional manner
Assists Tribal Directors in planning, coordinating and promoting services provided by these programs to tribal members living in and around the Guadalupe area
Assists the Chairman in evaluating the Guadalupe Office?s functions, policies and objectives
Assists with the development of positive working relationships between the Guadalupe Office staff and the community, external agencies and organizations
Serves as a liaison between the Chairman and the communities, civic and social organizations located in the Guadalupe area
Participates in the formulation of administrative policies and operations with the various programs located in the Guadalupe Office
Assists and provides input to determine strategic administrative objectives of the Guadalupe Office
Assist in resolving complaints, issues and communicates with the Tribe management on sensitive and/or confidential issues received by community
Administers building security and safety procedures as appropriate to the operating environment; coordinates remodeling activities as appropriate among the various programs, Information Technology, Facilities Management, etc.; develops procedures to control and assign building and/or office space, equipment and vehicles
Reports all incidents and complaints to Department

Required

Associate Degree in Public or Business Administration or a closely related field
Must possess and maintain a valid Arizona Driver's License
Must have a current Level 1 Arizona Clearance Card or be able to obtain the Level 1 Arizona Clearance Card within ninety (90) days of hire

Preferred

Four years of supervisory, management or lead experience
Experience with Tribal government
